Knowledge Center (JKC): JKC is an innovative and pioneering initiative
that brings the best students from all over the state, providing them
with best infrastructure, offering best-guidance, best-content and opportunities
to apply their knowledge on the challenging problems. JKCs are established
in reputed engineering colleges spread across the State of Andhra Pradesh
to increase the standards of Higher Education. In JKC the students are
trained to learn the technical skills, soft skills, project management
skills and communication skills by employing accelerated learning strategies
with a mentor to student ratio of 1:5. Availability of Trained students
is attracting many companies to come to Andhra Pradesh.
Objectives
of JKC:
To promote the Government - University - Industry interaction.
To provide conducive environment for learning by doing in colleges.
To promote the dissemination of knowledge fostering the innovative thoughts
of the students.
To develop and deploy e-Governance applications done in a cost-effective
manner, thus upgrading the quality of life of the citizens.
To empower students living in the rural areas so as to bridge the Urban
- Rural divide.
To undertake research and apply these fruitful results to the benefit
of the society.
To produce readily employable graduates by imparting industry grade
skills.

Academia:
Experimentation of new strategies, methodologies, tools and technologies
which may not be a part of formal curricula and propagation of accelerated
learning techniques Bringing industries to Institutions in order to
impart Industry Grade Employable Skills and outsource the research work
/ projects Providing an opportunity to the students to handle live projects
following Industry standards Involving industry in curricula preparation.
Programs
offered through JKC:
Student Knowledge Forum (SKF): Introducing the students to learning
skills that is 'Experiential Learning' through 'Learning by doing' and
hence fostering their innovative ideas and inculcating the habit of
knowledge propagation by firmly integrating the trainee? trainer bond,
is the concept of SKF. This process of learning involves developing
the habit of planned execution and promoting team spirit among the students.
Campus Placement Related Skills (CPRS): Moulding the students to the
perspective of corporate community is the main objective of CPRS. It
is a training program which brings out and strengthens their inherent
skills, plus equips them with employable skills that are lacking. Campus
Placement Mission (CPM): IT & ITES industry is generating new opportunities
everyday to meet its global demands. CPM functions as a “Gateway
to the corporate world” for prospective professional graduates
by bringing awareness of skills required by the Industry, assessing
their skills & suitability for placements and organizing campus
placements. Mentor Learning Centers (MLCs): Specialized centers with
on campus residential facilities added with access to library, computer
and internet facilities supported by well trained mentors in selected
engineering colleges.JKC
R & D initiatives: At the next stage of maturity model, incubation
centers and R&D activities would be the focus of attention. Selected
centers from the existing list in collaboration with industries and
universities will provide environment for product development with in
