Innovative Programs

Orientation Program:
An orientation program on engineering subjects, communication skills, personality development has been introduced from the 1st year. This will enable them to develop effective reading, learning and reviewing the subjects They will also develop good study habits and learn memory management and time management. It will also help them to recognize their strengths and weaknesses to analyze themselves and take corrective measures.

Course files & Lab Manuals:

Every department provides course files and lab manuals. This will help the students to understand the teaching of theory subjects and help while doing the practical in the laboratory. Thus the learning will become effective.

Training on Communication skills and Soft skills:

The college has signed MOUs with M/s.Globarena Ltd., Hyderabad and M/s. Orien Informatics, Bangalore to provide professional training in communication skills, soft skills, group discussions and interview skills. The training in communication skills will improve not only the language of the student but also to understand the subject thoroughly, since many of the students will be coming from Telugu medium at their 10+2 level of study. The training in soft skills and interview skills will help the students at the time of their placement interviews and prove very effective during the last two academic years.

Training on personality development:

Training programs and seminars are organized on Yoga and personality development by different organizations to boost the confidence among the students and improve their memory power and concentration.

Industry Institute interaction:

To have better Industry Academia, the institute will be pursuing periodically on the needs of industry and the curriculum. To bridge the gap the institute will be organizing seminars/guest lectures/interactive sessions with production / human resource managers of industry to educate the students in right way. The students are visiting industries during their industrial tour to acquire hands on experience and get exposure to the industrial environment. The college is organizing a number of additional training programs on the softwares and skills required in industry which are not included in the curriculum.Association with the other Institutions for faculty development & student.

training: :

For Faculty development and student Training MOUs are signed by the College with the following Institutions as Network partners under TEQIP to share the physical facilities and expertise available. A number of programs have been organized during the academic year 2005-2006 and planned for the coming years.

under this program it is proposed to undertake joint Research &Consultancy projects, joint student projects , seminars, workshops, conferences.

Entrepreneurship Development Activity:
An Entrepreneurship Development Cell has been established in the college. The AICTE has sanctioned Rs 5.6 Lacs for the same. This cell will be organizing Entrepreneurship development programmes for the students of our college and other colleges to inspire them to become entrepreneurs. It will involve the Banks and other Financial Institutions , Industrial departments and successful entrepreneurs of the region.
