RGMCET strongly believes that the Ragging is inhuman,a social evil and punishable crime

Under law.To prevent Ragging both at college and hostels we initiate lot of steps.

Ø      A no of committees are formed with faculty,staff and students.

Ø      Display ofposters and banners at prominent places.

Ø      Visit by faculty and Principal to hostel.

Ø      Obtaining  an under taking from all the students as per the format enclosed.

Ø      Counseling by local police officials ,professionalcounselors,

Ø      Counselling by Faculty,HODs,Principal at the respective classes.

PLEASE NOTE

 

1.          RAGGING IS PROHIBETED AS PER ACT 26 OF A.P. LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY 1997.

2.          RAGGING ENTAILS HEAVY FINES AND / OR IMPRISONMENT.

3.          RAGGING INVOKES SUSPENSION AND DISMISSAL FROM THE COLLEGE.

4.          OUTSIDERS ARE PROHIBITED FROM ENTERING THE COLLEGE AND HOSTELS WITHOUT PERMISSION.

5.          GIRL STUDENTS MUST BE IN THEIR HOSTEL ROOMS BY 09.00 P.M.

6.          ALL THE STUDENTS MUST CARRY THEIR IDENTITY CARDS AND SHOW THEM WHEN DEMANDED.

7.          THE PRINCIPAL AND THE WARDENS WILL VISIT THE HOSTELS AND INSPECT THE ROOMS ANY TIME.

8.          SUSPENDED STUDENTS ARE DEBARRED FROM ENTERING THE CAMPUS EXCEPT WHEN REQUIRED TO ATTEND ENQUIRY AND TO SUBMIT AN EXPLANATION.
